Elizabeth Gomez is a Chicago-based comedian, storyteller, writer, and experienced napper. She is a founder of the Windy City Rollers, Chicago's premiere all female roller derby league; a founding writer at Drinkers with Writing Problems; and has appeared on WGN Radio, WBEZ, Vocalo, and TouchVision. She has performed at The Laugh Factory, Drop Comedy Club, the Kates, This Much is True, Beast Women Rising, and many other showcases and storytelling events throughout the city. A Story on her blog, was labeled "Freshly Pressed" for My Life as an English to Engrish Translator.

The start of Elizabeth's performing and writing pursuits began after trying to fill the void that roller derby left behind. In that time, her quick wit, adventurous spirit, and infectious energy has led her to connect with audiences as she talks about life, growing up in a multicultural home, and how to succeed at failing at marriage.

Eventually, she hopes to one day find a wealthy 96-year-old man to settle down with and become addicted to prescription drugs and pink fluffy high heels or become the newest member of Mob Wives. Neither her husband nor her children are so excited about either plans.
